Shona and Phil
Shona and Phil's story is one of love lost and love found again.
They first met all the way back in 2008 at Old Swinford Hospital's 6th form. They dated for a while, but the stars were just not aligned.
After nearly a decade apart, both growing into very different people from the couple who dated previously, the fates decided that their paths would cross again. The timing wasn't right at first, but a while later, circumstances changed, and the adventure started again!
Shona's 30th birthday fell in the middle of the covid lockdowns. So to celebrate her 31st, Phil took her away up to a small Scottish island. Shona only discovered that it was her namesake, Eilean Shona, when they arrived at the jetty to get the "ferry" across to the island.
Shona thought that was the only birthday surprise, but little did she realise that Phil had more surprises in store!
